About

After completing a BFA with honors from Texas Woman’s University with an emphasis in painting and ceramics, I painted for years before falling in love with sculptural and fiber arts. In doing this work I now get to mix my passion for color and composition with the tactile fun of sculpture, ceramics, and mixed media.

Creating, for me, has always been about the hands and the mark they leave. With the knots from the rope, the forming of shapes, and the in and out of the weaving, my hands are ever present - pulling, shaping, molding the space the piece will occupy.
